May 06, Colombo: Sri Lanka will donate US$ 25,000 to Myanmar as assistance to the victims of the deadly cyclone that killed over 22,000 people, Sri Lankan government said.
The government said that it would send a team of medical doctors and nurses to the affected country shortly.
The death toll from a powerful cyclone that struck Myanmar three days ago rose to 22,500 Tuesday, with a further 41,000 people still missing, the media reported.
