May 05, Colombo: In its quest to reward excellence, Eagle Insurance Company annually felicitates two leading personalities who have proved their commitment to excellence and professionalism in their chosen fields.

This year the personalities selected for the Eagle Excellence Award were Victor Ratnayake who has excelled in the field of Sri Lankan music and Prof. Sunil Ariyaratne renowned in the fields of literature, cinema and music.

As in previous years, this year too the awards presentation was the highlight of the annual Eagle Convention held recently at the BMICH to recognize the best of the best amongst the Eagle field force. The two recipients, who were cheered on their way to receive the Awards from Eagle’s Managing Director, were most appreciative of Eagle's gesture in recognizing their contribution to the country's art and culture.

This was the sixth successive year that Eagle Insurance chose two celebrated artistes to be honored in this fashion.
