May 31, Colombo: Four suicide kits with explosives were found from Mina Island in Chillaw last night during a joint search launched by Police and Drug and Narcotic Bureau officials.

Police said that another suicide kit without explosives also was found from the same location. The items, buried in the ground were recovered near the old Hindu Kovil.

Police arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.
