May 31, Colombo: At least two military personnel were killed and eight others were injured this morning in a road accident at Katagamuwa in Kataragama, the military said.

Authorities said a Unicorn combat vehicle carrying the security forces personnel had slipped off from the road.

A soldier and a sailor were killed, while six soldiers and two sailors were hospitalized with injuries, the military said.
