May 22, Colombo: UPFA Eastern Provincial Councilor M.L.A.M. Hizbullah took oaths this morning before Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple Trees as the Eastern Provincial Council Minister of Health, Youth and Women's Affairs. Javaheer Sali and Mohamed Subhair were also sworn in as members of the Eastern Provincial Council.

Governor of the Eastern province Mohan Wijewickrema, Governor of the Western Province Alevi Maulana, Ministers Maithripala Sirisena, Karu Jayasooriya, A.H.M. Fowzie and Rishard Badudeen and President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga were also present at the occasion.
