Mar 27, Colombo: The Faculty of Medicine at Colombo University has once again organized Sri Lanka's best medical exhibition "MedEx" after 26 years. The MedEx 2008 opened yesterday at the BMICH in Colombo. It is opened to public until Apr 1.

The students and the staff of the medical faculty that is considered to be the leader in the country’s medical education have organized the exhibition.

According to the organizers, this year’s exhibition has revolutionized the traditional concept of exhibition by moving away from the conventional show and tell approach. The MedEx 2008 promotes an opportunity for active visitor participation and interactive learning, say the organizers.

The organizers expect nearly 800,000 visitors over the next seven days.
