Mar 27, Colombo: Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union (SLRFU) yesterday received a stock of rugby balls, jerseys, track suits, training kits, and stockings from Gilbert, England’s leading rugby equipment manufacturer as part of a deal.

The items were presented to DIG Nimal Lewke, the chairman of SLRFU by Srimal Wickremasinghe, the SLRFU representative in Wales.

The presentation was made as a result of the 2-year contract signed by SLRFU with the sports good manufacturing company. The agreement enables the SLRFU to make profits over selling of products related to Sri Lanka’s rugby at international markets.
