Mar 21, Colombo: Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) has summoned its representatives in the Eastern Province to Colombo to discuss its plan for the provincial council election in the Eastern Province.

According to the SLMC sources, the representatives are to meet tomorrow to consider the invitations made by both UNP and SLFP to join hands at the election.

Meanwhile, pro Tamil Tiger political party Tamil National Alliance (TNA) says that it is still undecided on its participation to the coming polls. Having lost its cover from the Tamil Tigers in the area, many political observers believe that the party has almost lost its influence it had over the people.
