June 05, Matara: Two persons were killed in a road accident occurred in Thudawa area in southern Sri Lanka this morning. Among them was a member of the police Special Task Force.

Police said that the accident occurred when a three-wheeler and a truck collided head on.

According to the police the victims were the driver of the three-wheeler and the member of the STF who was traveling in the three-wheeler.
