June 12, Colombo: The SME Banking Road Show organized by the International Financial Corporation(IFC) to uplift Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs (SME) was concluded successfully in Matara.

During this road-show which was participated by Commercial Bank, Hatton National Bank, Sampath Bank, NDB Bank, DFCC Bank and the Nations Trust Bank, Matara District Board of Commerce, Industrial Development Board, and Export Development Board entrepreneurs were given an opportunity in finding assistance to SME sector.

The inaugural programme of the SME Banking Road Show was held in Colombo in 2007 which was backed by the Government of Sri Lanka under Mahinda Chinthana political manifesto.
