July 28, Colombo: Sri Lanka's 2008 yesterday met President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on 27th prior to their departure.

Team members Daniel Lee, Chintana Vidanagama, Anuruddha Rathnayake, Nadeeka Lakmalee and Thilini Jayasinghe posed for a group photograph with the President.

Sri Lanka’s sprint queen Susanthika Jayasinghe has been elected to lead the Olympic team next month to Beijing. Minister Gamini Lokuge, Sports Secretary S.
