* Pakistan donates educational books to Sri Lanka

July 02, Colombo: Government of Pakistan has donated a large quantity of books on Pakistan and Asian Studies to University of Colombo through its High Commission in Sri Lanka.

The plan to donate books to various universities of Sri Lanka is a part of government of Pakistan programme to provide assistance to local people of Sri Lanka in social up-lifting projects. Under this programme Pakistan High Commission is planning to donate books to Peradeniya University, Colombo University, and South Eastern University.

Pakistan High commission has previously donated a large number of books to National Library of Colombo and Press Institute of Sri Lanka. It has also donated a computer library to Ananda College in Colombo recently.
