July 16, Colombo: Dialog Telekom of Sri Lanka has extended its 3G/HSPA service to Mannipai in Jaffna following the setting up of the 530th 3G Base Station.

With Dialog 3G enabling the unique communication channel of video calling, Sri Lankan Tamil communities living around the globe will now be able to have face to face conversations with their loved ones locally and internationally.

The launch of Dialog 3G/HSPA services in Mannipai, Jaffna offers a range of consumer benefits and a multitude of services and applications such as Mobile TV, high speed internet access and a variety of video based value added services. Dialog 3G also provides a video conferencing facility which allows users to have live video conferences through their mobile phones with up to six different people in six different locations simultaneously.
