July 01, Colombo: Three people were killed and two others suffered serious injuries when a Sri Lanka Transport Bus collided with a privately owned car at Nugawela, Katugastota, this morning.

Police said all the victims were passengers of the ill-fated car. The driver of the bus was taken into custody, sources added.
