July 10, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for India tonight or tomorrow on a special official visit.

Informed sources said that President Rajapaksa will meet Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and discuss several issues including the forthcoming South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Colombo.

However, no official confirmation about the visit has been made, as the President’s Office has not released any information regarding the proposed visit as yet.
