Jan 20, Horana: Sri Lanka's Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickramanayaka vowed that the government will not stop its campaign against Tamil Tigers until the outfit renounces terrorism.
At the opening ceremony of a new police station in Horana today the PM said the Tamil Tigers are manipulating various local and international forces to stop government's campaign.
The Premier said that it is the Tamil Tigers who must first stop fighting and if not the government will further step up its military offensives. The government will use new technology and finish this war victoriously, he added.
Inspector General of Police and many other dignitaries graced the occasion. According to the police sources the government has spent Rs.400 million for the building of the new police station.
