* President pays last respects to slain Minister

Jan 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid his last respects to the Late Minister D. M. Dassanayaka this morning at his Anamaduwa residence.

Wife of the Late Minister Mrs. Indrani Dassanayaka is also in the picture.

Nation-Building Minister, Dassanayaka, 54, was killed in a suspected LTTE claymore blast on January 08. He entered the parliament from the Anamaduwa electorate in 1994.
