Dec 28, Colombo: National Freedom Front (NFF), the breakaway group of the Marxist Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the ruling party UPFA this morning at the Temple Trees forming a coalition to face the forthcoming provincial council polls.

General Secretary of UPFA, Minister Susil Premajayantha and General Secretary of NFF, parliamentarian Nandana Gunathilaka signed the MoU. President Mahinda Rajapaksa, NFF leader MP Wimal Weerawansa, Mahsanga and other religious leaders of all the faiths, Ministers, Members of the UFF were also present at the occasion.
