Dec 17, Colombo: Nearly 75 houses have been damaged due to the cyclonic wind that blew across the Moratuwa and Panadura areas this evening.

Keerthi Ekanayaka, the Coordinator of the Disaster Management Center said that a large number of houses were severely damaged while the roofs of few others were slightly damaged.

According to the Disaster Management Center there were no injuries reported from the gusting wind.
