Aug 26, Colombo: Shell Gas Company, one of Sri Lanka's leading gas suppliers says that they will revise the price of a LP gas cylinder with effect from next month.

Rimu Saldeen, Finance Director of the Shell gas company said they have requested permission from the Consumer Affairs Authority to revise the price last week.

Saldeen said the exact amount is not decided yet. After considering the world price of LP gas, the company will decide the amount he added.

According to the price revision method introduced by the Sri Lankan government, Shell can revise the price of a gas cylinder every two-month period.
