Aug 20, Dambulla, Some angry Sri Lankan spectators have assaulted the Indian cricketers at the Rangiri Dambulla stadium this evening after Sri Lanka lost the second One Day International (ODI) to India.

Dambulla police said after the second ODI match, some spectators have thrown water bottles at the Indian cricketers.

However no injuries were reported. After obtaining tight security Indian team left the grounds safely, police said.

India leveled the ODI series 1-1 against Sri Lanka with a 3-wicket win chasing the 142 posted by Sri Lanka.
