Aug 20, Colombo: Sri Jayewardenepura University of Sri Lanka, the country’s pioneering university in business management has called for papers for the International Conference on Business Management(ICBM) -2009.

The symposium, under the theme ‘Role of Managers in a Knowledge Economy’ has been organized by the University for the 6th consecutive year. Researchers are invited to submit their papers on 10 different disciplines including Accounting and Finance, Organization Management, Public Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, Managing Economics, Information Systems, Technology and Operations Management, Estate Management, and Planning Education.

The abstracts should be submitted on or before 20 September, 2008 and the submission of full papers should be made on November 7, 2008. The closing date of registration is 6 March 2009. The conference is scheduled to be held on March 25, 2009.
