Apr 30, Colombo: The price of 12.5kg Shell Gas cylinder would be reduced by 20 rupees with effect from today midnight, the Company announced.

Accordingly, the revised price will be 1,729 rupees, a spokesman for the Shell Company said. He said they have decided to reduce price according to the formula introduced by the government.

The price of a 2.3kg cylinder too has been reduced by the same formula, he added.
