Apr 30, Colombo: The Ministry of Consumer Affairs and Trade says that 7000 metric tons of rice imported from Myanmar will arrive in Sri Lanka on May 4. Earlier, the Ministry stated that the rice stocks would arrive before the Sinhala and Hindu New Year. The expected type of rice is called Rangoon Kakulu.
