Sept 04, Colombo: A group of Buddhist monks led by Ven. Nanapurawe Buddharakkitha Nayaka Thero of Deegawapi Rajamaha Viharaya met President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday evening at Temple Trees.

The MahaSangha felicitated the President for liberating the East from the clutches of the LTTE. Ministers Dinesh Gunawardena, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana, P. Dayaratne were also present at the occasion.
