Sept 29, Colombo: A tussle over the party print media propaganda organ has commenced between Sri Lanka's major opposition United National Party (UNP) and its breakaway Democratic Group.

UNP sued one R.M.D. Sirisena against the preparations to publish a newspaper under ‘Siyarata’ name. Siyarata is the traditional UNP newspaper.

Colombo Commercial Court yesterday issued an injunction against publication of such newspaper by Sirisena who did not appear in courts and fixed the case to be heard on October 31.
