Oct 20, Colombo: The Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs G.L.U.W. Samarasinghe said that a draft of National Cultural Policy will be tabled before the Cabinet of Ministers this week.

The Secretary said that the Ministry considered the outcome of all attempts to prepare a National Cultural Policy in the past.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has paid special attention towards safeguarding national cultural values under his Mahinda Chinthanaya manifesto.
