Nov 17, Colombo: The wife of Sri Lanka’s first Executive President J.R. Jayawardhana, Ms. Elena Jayawardhana passed away this morning at a private hospital in Colombo.

She was 94 years old when she passed away.

The casket is kept at the Ward Place family residence and the funeral ceremony would take place tomorrow evening at Borella cemetery.
