Nov 12, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today handed over keys and the deed to a new house to a poor family from Pelmadulla in Sabaragamuwa Province at the Temple Trees.

Acting on a letter Wasantha Chandramali wrote to the President explaining the hardships the family is suffering some time back, President made arrangements to donate a new house to them. Mr. C. Kandegedara from Kiribathgoda donated about Rs. 7 lakhs to build the house. Former GA of Palmadulla donated the land.
