Nov 11, Colombo: India's Finance Minister P Chidambaram called on Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Temple Trees.

Chidambaram arrived today in Colombo for a brief visit to deliver the Lakshman Kadirgamar Memorial Lecture.

The lecture is organized in memory of former Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar who was assassinated by the LTTE in August 2005.

President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, Finance Secretary Dr. P.B.Jayasundara and Indian High Commissioner Alok Prasad were also present at the occasion
