Mar 13, Colombo: A report by the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Louise Arbour with mentions on Sri Lanka's human rights situation is to be taken for discussion tomorrow at the fourth session of the UN Human Rights Commission now being held in Geneva.
Reports by the special rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions, Philip Alston and the UN representative for Children in Armed Conflict, Radhika Coomaraswamy covering the issues in Sri Lanka, are also to be presented at the latest UNHRC session.
Meanwhile the Sri Lanka opposition MP Jayalath Jayawardhana will also present a separate report.
More reports from the independent organizations that include facts relevant to Sri Lanka will be presented at the session which winds up at the end of this month.
