June 10, Colombo: Sri Lanka’s Prime Minister Rathnasiri Wickramanayaka today said that LTTE had sent another truck with over 1,000 kilograms of explosives, a week after police found a truck with over 1,000 kilograms of C-4 explosives packed inside 42 boxes.

The Police on June 01 arrested a truck with 1,052 kilograms of C-4 explosives carefully hidden in the truck under a pile of coconuts at a Police checkpoint in Kurunegala District.

"The explosives in that truck were enough to blow up half of Colombo," the PM said.
