July 03, Colombo: The Sri Lanka Freedom Party People's Wing, led by dissident former Ministers Mangala Samaraweera and Sripathi Suriyaarachchi, met the leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC), Rauff Hakeem, today.

SLMC sources said Mr. Hakeem will report on the dialogue to the party’s supreme council to be held on July 6.

Meanwhile, a People’s Wing spokesperson said Samaraweera and Suriyaarachchi will meet the leaders of the People’s Liberation Front (JVP) tomorrow.

Another meeting is to be held on Thursday between the People’s Wing leaders and the leader of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress, Arumugam Thondaman.
