July 16, Colombo: Ayatollah Sheikh Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, Secretary General of the Tehran-based World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (WFPIST), called on Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at Temple Trees in Colombo.

The spiritual leader from Iran congratulated the President on liberating the Eastern Province and Mannar from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). He further blessed him to achieve compete unity among all people living in the country.
