Aug 28, Colombo: The final ‘Randoli’ procession of Temple of Tooth will commence around 8 PM tonight at Kandy city in Sri Lanka.

The four processions of the temples of Natha, Vishu, Paththini and Saman Gods and Goddess will join the procession of the Temple of Tooth at the main entrance of the temple. The procession will proceed in the roads and will end at the main entrance again.

Around 100 elephants including two elephant cubs handed over by the Myanmar government today to the Temple of Tooth are participating in the procession with hundreds of traditional dancing troupes.

Sources from Kandy said that around 200,000 visitors have gathered in Kandy to watch the colorful cultural pageant. More than 1000 police and security personnel provide security in the city.
