Apr 04, Colombo: The Immigration and Emigration Department (IED) of Sri Lanka has released an updated and revised operation manual with the assistance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) under the Migration Management programme.

The Controller of Immigration and Emigration, P. B. Abeykoon said that the revised operation manual aims at boosting the capacity of the relevant divisions of the department to conduct their duties more efficiently.

The manual produced to international standards with facility to be amended when required by the IED is also available electronically.
