* Sri Lanka President attends SAARC summit in India

Apr 03, New Delhi: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa today attended the 14th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi, India.

From left to right - Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai, Bangladesh Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed, Bhutan Prime Minister Lyonpo Khandu Wangchuk, Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Maldives President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom, Nepalese Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Mrs. Singh welcome President and First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa to the summit.

President in a round table discussion with the SAARC leaders and Indian President Kalam.

Following the meeting President is greeted by Indian President Dr. Abdul Kalam.

The leaders pose for a group picture with Indian President outside the presidential palace, Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President met Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
