Apr 13, Colombo: Sri Lanka will participate in the annual Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the largest trade and consumer travel show in the Gulf region, that will be held from May 1 to 4 in Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, United Arab Emirates.
Over 60 participants led by Deputy Minister of Tourism Faizer Mustapha are to represent Sri Lanka. Thee Ministry of Tourism will invest Rs. 20 million for the event.
Sri Lanka tries to capture the Gulf tourism market which is less sensitive to the ongoing violence in Sri Lanka.
