Apr 10, Colombo: Sri Lanka's young swinger Lasith Malinga is indefinite to participate in the Sri Lanka - New Zealand World Cup Super Eight match at Guyana due to an ankle strain.

The fast bowler who rose as a formidable threat to any team in the recent matches got his injury while practicing. A scan has proved that his injury is not serious.

However Malinga's participation in the Sri Lanka - New Zealand match on 12th is yet to be verified.
