* Winner of Sri Lanka lottery receives check for Rs. 60 million

Oct 20, Colombo: Mr. P.K.M.D. Martin, who won Rs. 60 million (US$ 600,000) in the Mahajana Sampath Lottery, received his check from Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees today.

Mr. Martin immediately donated Rs. 1 million of his winnings to the National Defence Fund. Chairman Upali Liyanage and Working Director H.G. Sirisena of the National Lotteries Board are also in the picture.
