Oct 10, Colombo: President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Sri Lanka Air Force Base at Katunayake this morning. Presidential Secretary Lalith Weeratunga and Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa are also pictured.

Air Force Commander Air Marshal Roshan Gunathilaka presented a memento to the President to mark his visit.

The President had discussions with senior Air Force officers.

President Rajapaksa also inspected the Air Force Hospital.

The President addressed Air Force personnel.

Mr. Rajapaksa was welcomed by an Air Force Guard of Honour.
