Nov 07, Colombo: Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa offered flowers at the statue of his father, the late Mr. D.A. Rajapaksa, on the commemoration day of his passing.

The President took part in a ceremony to provide housing facilities for Tamil employees at the Tangalle Urban Council.

Mr. Rajapaksa was also present to award Sisura Scholarships for 100 deserving students.
