* Sri Lanka President hands over the donations from Pakistan to the soldiers in the attack on Pakistan HC

Dec 06, Colombo: President Mahinda Rajapaksa today handed over the donations given by the Pakistan government to the families of the dead and wounded soldiers in the attack on the former Pakistan High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Bashir Wali Mohamed at Temple Trees. LTTE suicide bomber rammed a three wheeler into the High Commissioner's motorcade on14th August 2006 near the Liberty Junction killing four army commandoes and injuring several others.

Pakistan High Commissioner Mr. Seham Aslam Chaudree and Maj. Gen Nanda Mallawarachchi are also in the picture
