* Sri Lanka President gives permanent appointments to 5000 casual RDA employees

Dec 31, Colombo: President Mahinda Rajapaksa today handed letters of permanent appointment to 5000 casual employees from the Road Development Authority (RDA).

The ceremony was held at the Vihara Maha Devi Park in Colombo.

Ministers Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Athauda Seneviratne and T.B. Ekanayake were also present.
