* Sri Lanka govt to call for tenders for oil exploration

Dec 31, Colombo: The government of Sri Lanka plans to call for worldwide tenders for oil exploration in the Mannar Basin in May, Ministry of Petroleum Resources Development sources said.

Interested parties can purchase seismic data on these oil deposits from the Sri Lanka government, with the entire data set available for $1 million.

Seismic surveys conducted by a US-based geophysical company, T.G.S. Nopec, have revealed the possibility of oil deposits, mainly in the Mannar Basin of Sri Lanka. City Bank Card, Chase low rate loan, American Express
