* Sri Lanka considers a new airline

Dec 02, Colombo: Sri Lanka's Ministries of Finance, Ports and Aviation Services will jointly put forward a Cabinet paper to set up a new airline for Sri Lanka.

The Cabinet paper will propose the setting up of Mihin Lanka airline, following the name of President Mahinda Rajapaksa, as a fully government-owned enterprise.

Meanwhile, the agreement between SriLankan Airlines and the Emirates is to be terminated by 20 March, 2008, but the government hopes to extend it, sources said. City Bank Card, Chase low rate loan, American Express
