Dec 19, Colombo: Leaders of tea workers' unions met President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Temple Trees in Colombo to discuss the tea workers' strike, which has entered its third week.

The President, Minister and Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) leader Arumugam Thondaman, Minister Athauda Seneviratne, Deputy Minister Mervin Silva, President's Secretary Lalith Weeratunga, and union leaders are pictured in their discussions. After the meeting, Minister Thondaman addressed the press.
