  Sri Lanka committed to introduce new technologies to increase market share in the global economy

Feb 25, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa says that the government is committed to introducing new technologies in every sector to enable the country to increase its market share in the global economy.

He said the government had established a separate Ministry of Technology with this objective, just as it had promised in its ‘Vision of Prosperity’ policy statement. The President made this observation addressing the 15th Governing Council meeting of the Non-aligned and Other Developing Countries for Science and Technology, on Zoom Technology yesterday (24).
